It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Heil in Houghton, New York, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Milbrandt and Melba Hartman Milbrandt; her husband John J. Heil; her grandson Joshua Gibbs; and her sisters, Lois Vander Mallie, Shirley Carini and Anna Jean McClarin.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Stegen (Richard) of Houghton, Margaret Heil of Asheville, NC, Gary Heil (Kathie) of Bear, DE and Karen Heil Borchert (Mark) of Wellsville; her grandchildren, Shane (Jenna), Gabriel (Lauren), Zack, Sarah (Mike), Josiah, Nathanael (Missy), Elissa (Conly), Levi, Jessica, Daniel and April; her great grandchild Anya Marie; her brother Carlton Milbrandt (Dyonne) of Northville, MI; her brothers-in-law, Louie Carini of Rochester and Bruce McClarin of Rochester; and her cousin Marlene Smith (Marvin) of Rochester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
