Betty Jane Ringgenberg Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2024, at the age of 85, Betty Jane Ringgenberg of Hortonville, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Betty Jane is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Betty Jane's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Buddenhagen and Frances Grace Long Buddenhagen; her husband Verl Ringgenberg; and her sons, David A. Ringgenberg and Roger L. Ringgenberg.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lori J. Tyler of Syracuse, NY, Rhonda L. Houghtaling (Bruce) of Callicoon, NY and Christine M. Ringgenberg of New Windsor, NY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hortonville Presbyterian Church.

“I am so very sorry to see this. BJ was a friend. We went to HS together and hadn't been in touch in a long time but I'd just sent her an email. I wondered why she didn't reply. I am so sad that this is the reason. I wish peace to you my friend. I made it to 85 on Dec 15th -- so we both got there. I hope I see you on the other side. Rosemary McGuire”
