It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Mecum (Horseheads, New York), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Mecum and Vivian Sperbeck Mecum Sr.; and his sister Frances Mecum Marks. He is survived by: his wife Petrina "Tia" Palmieri Mecum; his children, William W. Mecum (Kristin), Jenny L. Kaelin Mecum (Lauren) and Peter H. Mecum; his grandchildren, Daniela Mecum, Angelo Mecum and Lloyd K. Mecum; his siblings, Hugh Mecum (Jacque) and Jan Mecum Powell (Bill); his siblings-in-law, Dr. David Dozack, Peter Palmieri, Gary Taylor, Raymond Marks, Scott Packard, Pamela Newman, Bernice Packard, Toni Dozack, Jamie Palmieri Taylor and Deb Palmieri; and his friends, Livie, Ed Trexler and Don Roby.
