He was predeceased by: his brother Rick Shaw. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Shaw (Jacob Vrooman) of Amsterdam, NY and Colby Shaw of Scotia, NY; his stepchildren, Michael (Christine) and Ashley Davis of Scotia, NY; his parent Gayle Ackerman (Darrell) of Erin, NY; and his siblings, Tamara Clay of Bethel, CT and Jeremy Ackerman (Bridget Sullivan) of Horseheads, NY.
