She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd French and Rose French; her husbands, Harry Marcy and Joseph Thomas Sr.; her son Joseph Thomas Jr; her siblings, Nelson, Arthur, Charles French and Althea Smith; and her son-in-law Elton "Rick" Shaw.

She is survived by: her children, Gordon Thomas (Linda) of Barton, Kathryn Foster (Mike) of Waverly, Tim Thomas (Donna) of Watertown, MN and Nancy Shaw of Horseheads; and her sister Wilma Salazar of Waverly. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
