He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Austin and Sophia Gursky Austin; and his wife Judy. He is survived by: his sons, Ronald Austin Jr. (Kelli) and Brent Austin; his grandchildren, Ashley (Bryan) and Leslie (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Mia, Jordan, Zayne, Zoey, Colsyn and Brinley.
