He was predeceased by: his parent Ronald A., Sr.; his wife Marjorie; and his son-in-law Gerald Check. He is survived by: his parent Mary A. Hawley (McElroy); his daughter Lois Jr.; his son-in-law Christopher Downs, Jr.; his granddaughter Sarah Check of Horseheads; his sister Gail Legge of Elmira Heights; his nephews, Tyler Legge of Elmira Heights and Glenn Legge (Deborah); and his niece Christine Glamm (Jason). He is also survived by niece and great nephew.
