He was predeceased by: his parents, John Diffenderfer and Kathryn Diffenderfer (Hall); and his brother John Diffenderfer. He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Painter); his son-in-law David; his daughter Kristy Stewart (Diffenderfer); his granddaughters, Lauren and Stephanie Stewart; his siblings, Marylou Fice (Diffenderfer) and William Diffenderfer; and his friend Deborah Besley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and longtime business partner.
