It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard C. Roper (Horseheads, New York), who passed away on November 6, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Richard Hamilton. He is survived by: his parent Ruth Nimmo Roper; his wife Barbara C. Hinderliter Roper; his siblings-in-law, Jack Guthridge, Margaret Harvey, Joanne Castiglione, Ed Castiglione, Mary McManus, William McManus, Zita Hinderliter, Edward Hinderliter and Martin Lyle; his children, Karen Keenan (Dave Davie), Kim Dietterich and Richard M. Roper (Jinhee); his grandson Kyle Gush (Jessica Markle); his siblings, Kaye Guthridge, Michael Roper (Debbie) and Becky Parsons (Terry); and his brothers-in-law, Claudia Lyle, Mitzi Hinderliter, Daniel Hinderliter (Carol) and George Harvey. He is also survived by four great granddaughters, a great grandson; 6 step grandchildren.
