It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray F. Palmer (Horseheads, New York), who passed away on September 2, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Francis D. "Bud" Palmer. He is survived by: his parent Delores Louise Johnson Palmer; his siblings, Bonnie Austin and Joseph Palmer; his brothers-in-law, John LaVigne and Lacy Little; his nephew Scott Palmer Sr.; his significant other Jacqueline "Jackie" Hall Mattison; his children, Christopher Palmer of Florida, Tim Schram of Scio, NY, Corey VonNeida of Elmira and Jeff Wood of Erin, NY; his sister-in-law Diana Grinolds; his aunts, Roger, Karon Johnson of Horseheads and Barbara Mower; his friends, Loren "Smitty" Smith and Gordy Fitzmaurice; and also, Delores "Dolly", Diana, Sheila, James Comfort of Horseheads, Gary, Darla Palmer of Horseheads, Cindy, Tom Ruggiero of Wheatfield and Albert Austin of Horseheads. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of caring friends.
It was Ray's wish that in lieu of flowers he be remembered through memorials to The Arctic League 249 West Clinton Street Elmira , NY 14901.
