He was predeceased by: his siblings, Tom Kane, Betty Kane, Mickey Kane, Dorothy Kane, Jack Kane, Jim Kane, Florence Kane, Patricia Devlin, Tom Devlin, Shirley Makovitch and Edward Makovitch; his daughter-in-law Alice Jurusik Kane; his nieces and nephews, Teresa Makovitch Bonarski, Tom Devlin, John Devlin, Mike Kane, Mary Kane and Margaret Kane Nelson; and his cousins, Charlie Dickinson and Doris Dickinson.
He is survived by: his friend Libby Kane; his great grandchildren, Liam Kane and Lila Kane; his sister-in-law Patricia Kane (Patty Derr); and also Mary Elizabeth Kane (Luce). He is also survived by his children and their spouses: Molly and Curt Bailey, Patrick D. "Pete" and Sue Kane, Katy and Mike Buckley, Matt and Chrissie Kane, Liz and Rick Czerniak; grandchildren.
