It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Recard of Horseheads, New York, born in Canton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Spaulding and Marion Spaulding (Carl); her granddaughter Jennifer; and her significant other Richard Recard. She is survived by: her children, Diana Merritt of Horseheads, Anita, William White of Knoxville, TN and Steven Merritt of Geneseo, NY; her stepchildren, Richard Recard, Jr. of Lewisville, CO, Kathleen, Bob Ervay of Horseheads, Nancy Hough of Waverly and Jennifer Recard of Honeoye Falls, NY; her sister Phyllis Crane (Russell) of Troy, PA; and her grandchildren, Kenneth (Annie), Kristen (Matt), William, Rachael, Janae, Jonathan, Teresa Smith, Brian Ervay, Kief Hough, Christina Carter, Christopher Hough, Katherine Recard and David Recard. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pat was loyal to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, attending Bible Study up until the Corona Virus pandemic shutdown the community.
