She was predeceased by: her parents, William Curtis Vaughn and Esther Jones Vaughn; her husband Frederick W. Scaife; her children, Barbara Cole and Frederick J. "Fred" Scaife; her sons-in-law, Herman Brown and Harmon Grover; and her siblings, Walter Vaughn, Donald Vaughn, Edward Vaughn and Ruth Berguson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Maureen Grover (Harmon) of Lockwood and Judith Brown (Herman) of Horseheads, NY; her son-in-law Donald Cole of Trumansburg; and her caregiver Debbie Gleason.
