She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Franklin and Hilda Margaret Morse (Barnhart); and her son Michael J. Abbene. She is survived by: her children, Elisa K. Springer of Trumansburg and Brooks Abbene of Elmira Heights; her grandson Andrew G. Springer; her siblings, Anne M. Utter, Kay E. Ennis and Jim Nichols (Lori); and her friend Betsy Allen.
