He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Chorney and Katherine Chorney (Procko); his brother Vincent; his sister-in-law Lois Chorney; his brother Walter "Skip" Chorney; his niece Jessica Chorney Wilson; and his great-niece Katherine Chorney.
He is survived by: his son Matthew Chorney; his wife Lorraine Chorney; his brother Robert Chorney; and his sister-in-law Andrea Chorney. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.
