He was predeceased by: his son Lyle C. Motley III. He is survived by: his wife Ann Motley (Sastri); his daughter Shearin (John Light); his grandson Carter; his daughters, Eustacia and Desare'a Rosastri; his grandchild Shackleton; his sister Sara; and his brother-in-law Ronald Chaney.
