He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl Peterson and Lois Peterson (Giltz); his wife Mary Lou; his children, Linda Mandanas (Rene) of Oswego, NY, Betsy Galvin of Old Saybrook, CT and Daniel Peterson of Horseheads, NY; his brother Mark Peterson of Liverpool, NY; and his grandchildren, Laura Loomis (Jen), Robert Mandanas, Richard Mandanas (Janet), Sarah Mandanas, Thomas Galvin, Kristen Galvin, Andrew Galvin, Christopher Peterson and Melissa Peterson.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private.
