It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Tressler of Horseheads, New York, born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine "Jerry" Tressler and Floyd Tressler; his siblings, JoAnn Tressler, Floyd "Butch" Tressler and Nancy Swain; and his nephew James "Jimmy" Swain.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Tressler; his children, Chris Tressler (Laura) of Horseheads, NY and Valerie Datta (Bijoy) of Binghamton, NY; his grandchildren, Katherine, Shayna Tressler of Horseheads, NY, Ajay and Nikhil Datta of Binghamton, NY; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Tressler of Horseheads, NY.
While Larry had a lot of life left to live and he had every intention to continue his semi-annual trips to Boothbay Harbor, North Myrtle Beach and Cape Cod with Carol and Penny Cotis in tow, COVID placed his fragile heart under more stress than it could endure.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (P.O. Box 70719, Philadelphia, PA 19176) in Larry's memory.
