She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Appleton and Dorothy A. Quick Appleton; and her sisters, Diane Hodge and Nancy Wetherbee. She is survived by: her significant other John "Jack" Fiester; her children, Carolyn Draht (Robert), Susan Chapin (Spencer), David Fiester and Christine MacDonald (Thomas); her grandchildren, Todd Jandrew, Heather Rice and Thomas J. MacDonald; and her sister Jane Allington. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
