He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Keith Carl, Robert H. McGinnis, Sr. and Rita M.; his stepgrandfather Richard E. Durgin, Sr.; his uncle Joseph McGinnis; and his cousin C. J. Buchanan.
He is survived by: his parents, Douglas M. McGinnis and Christine McGinnis of Horseheads; his sister Megan M. McGinnis; his significant other Malissa Stapleton of Elmira; his grandmother Laura Carl; and his aunts and uncles, JoAnn, Tim Costley, Della, Wayne Walker, Jennifer Saxbury, Doug Martin, Brian Carl, Sheree Walter, Robert, Jr., Kathleen McGinnis, Denise, Joseph Mullaney, Michelle Buchanan and Debra Durgin. He is also survived by many cousins, and several close friends.
