He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kolanach and Barbara Sobkowski Kolanach; his grandson John Kain; and his siblings-in-law, James C. Keefe and Mary Marrone Keefe.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Keefe "Kitty"; his son John M.; his children-in-law, Rebecca Kolanach of Hampstead, NC and James Kain of Horseheads, NY; his grandchildren, Michelle C., Matthew Jaworski, Ryan J., Jennifer Kain, Elise D. Kolanach, Nicholas J. Kolanach, Paul Bayne, Sharna and Tokunboh Balogun; his great grandchildren, Maxwell Jaworski, Emma Kain, Bennett Kain, Marley Orme and Nate Hill Jr.; and his pet Heidi. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a host of caring friends.
