John G. Carpenter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2023, John G. Carpenter of Horseheads, New York, born in Elmira, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George H. Carpenter and Ina Carpenter (Stage); the mother of his children Sharon Carpenter Ungvarsky; his former wife Diane Carpenter; his wife Susan Carpenter of Horseheads; his sons, Bryan (Karin Carpenter) and Bruce (Erlinda Carpenter); his stepchildren, Rebecca Romig (David) of Sayre, PA and Brett Christian of Horseheads, NY; and his sister Donna Draxler of Pine City, NY. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Donations in Jack's memory may be directed to the Pine City United Methodist Church for the creation of a bus ministry.
