He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Dollie McLaughlin Bernas. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Bernas; his children, Matthew, Sarah Bernas of Castleton and Heather Bernas of Horseheads, NY; his grandchildren, Liam, Laureligh and Lexie Bernas; his sister Carol; and his brother-in-law Gerald Vargeson of Myrtle Beach, S. C.. He is also survived by several extended family members, caregivers and friends.
