It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Bahantka (Horseheads, New York), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on June 13, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bahantka and Catherine Kozemko Bahantka; his wife Darline; and his siblings, William Bahantka Jr. and Rosemarie May.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie Bahantka (Holly), John Bahantka Jr. (Taylor) and Michael Bahantka (Marta); his grandchildren, Lance, Emry, Sophia and Dominic; his brother Francis Bahantka (Charlotte); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Bahantka. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Even with Covid restrictions we spent last Summer having socially distanced family cookouts every weekend.
