He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Comfort and Vivian Lusk Comfort; his grandchildren, Emily Nero (Jordan), Joseph Lackey (Kim Paulin) and Hunter Hilliard; and his sisters, Linda Gardner of Corning and Patricia Poley (George) of Horseheads. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and family friends.
