He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Coy and Tiny; his brother Roy Silvers; his daughter Carol Pieklik (Christian); the parent of his child MaryRose Bannister (Magno); the mother of his children Marcy Russell; his children, Karen (Jack Smith), Lisa (Joel Bruner) and Gary Jr. (Camila); his former wife Susan Silvers; his sister-in-law Diane Silvers (Roy); his nephews, Christopher and Brian Silvers; his niece Jami Earley; and also, Michael Place (Sheryl), Christopher Place (Jackie) and Lisanne York (John). He was also cherished by 20 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
