He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Nelson and Marjorie Howell Nelson; his sister Suzanne Hearty; and his aunt Katie. He is survived by: his wife Donna Nelson; his children, Amy Sager (Jeremy) and Eric Nelson (Jill); his granddaughters, Katelyn, Hannah and Olivia; his brother-in-law Clifton White (Shirley); his nieces and nephews, Bret Gunderman (Lily), Cherie Gridley (Dana), Sue Felger (Jason) and David White (Michelle); and his close friend Sadie Sue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary's name to a charity of one's choice.
