He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur H. Shadduck and Anna Jocelyn Shadduck; and his siblings, Clifford and Kathy. He is survived by: his girlfriend Nancy Arnold of Corning, NY; his children, Jennifer Shaffer of Horseheads, NY and Justin Shadduck of Elmira Heights, NY; his siblings, Albert Shadduck (Hazel) and Bonnie Butts (Steve); and his granddaughters, Emily, Alison and Katherine Evans. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Community Wesleyan Church (2095 Grand Central Ave, Horseheads, NY 14845). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at the same location.

“had the pleasure of meeting duane and nancy in april of 2023 dropped in while visiting from montreal . my buddy alain goyette enjoyed and talked so highly of those jammimg sessions in the gazebo to nancy and all the family saddened for you all duane may you rest in peace”
