He was predeceased by: his parent DeGrove Padgett; and his brother Duane. He is survived by: his wife Letha Blodgett; his children, David W. (Donna), Sara (Brian) and Steve (Debbie Chopko); his grandchildren, Dave Padgett (Erica), Mike Padgett (Ellie), Mathew Craven (Jessica Blair), Emily Chapin, Megan Kotsy (John), Josh Padgett, Jessica Padgett and Jillian Padgett; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Ronan, Clayton, Abe, Mason and Mia; his siblings, Tom "Sonny" Padgett and Sandra May; and his sister-in-law Catherine Padgett. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
