It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David G. Bennett of Horseheads, New York, born in Afton, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bennett and Isabelle Morgan Bennett; his former wife Roberta Bennett; his siblings, Carl, Richard Bennett and Donna Bennett; and his son David Bennett Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Lilya Bennett of Horseheads; his children, Linda McElroy (Ron) of San Diego, CA, Diane Huntley (Ted) of Binghamton, Barbara Sternberg (Ron) of Port Crane, Debra David (Don) of Whitney Point and George Bennett (Darlene) of Binghamton; his stepdaughters, Donna Woodcock (Charles) of Mesa, AZ, Diane Burgess (David) of Cameron Mills and Deborah Longbucco (Tony) of Burdett; and his brother Terry Bennett (Karin) of Damascus, PA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandson; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
