He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Martin and Elizabeth Johnston Martin; and his brothers, Richard L. Johnston and Terry L. Johnston. He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth Beschler Martin; his wife Judith "Judy" F. Johnston; his children, Karen S. Thorpe (Timothy), Mark E. Johnston (Brenda) and Kelly J. Johnston; his stepchildren, Janet M. Skakal (Walter), Catherine L. Schewe (Timothy) and Joseph W. Sliwa (Elizabeth); and his brother David K. Johnston (Becky). He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
