She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Scouten and Jessie Brown Scouten; her husband Richard M. Brown; and her children, Roseanna Leonard and Richard Brown Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Jessica Byers (Edward) of Erin, NY and Stephen Brown (Nancy) of Elmira, NY; her grandchildren, Frank Jacobson (Karen), Lisa Kwasnik (Kelly), Kelly Brown (David), Kevin Brown, Audrey Edmister, Emily Byers (Jeremy) and April Myles (Cleon); her siblings, James Scouten Sr., William Scouten (Nadine) and Berniece Elefteratos (Ted); and her cousin Henry Cole. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Community Wesleyan Church (2095 Grand Central Ave, Horseheads, NY 14845).
