He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee and Virginia Belle Swartwood (Lusk); his brother Richard Swartwood; and his stepbrothers, Robert Seeley, Sonny Seeley and Skip Seeley.
He is survived by: his wife Janet E. Swartwood (Weaver); his sons, Alan (Sally Swartwood) and Chris (Jessica Swartwood); his grandson Dylan Lee Swartwood of Elmira Heights, NY; and his siblings, Fayne Passmore (Kink) of Waverly, NY and Doug Swartwood (Cindy) of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
