He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James MacFarland and Annette Comstock MacFarland; his wife Sandra Jean Rose; his children, Karen MacFarland of Columbia, MD and Bill MacFarland (Lisa Lunghofer) of Gaithersburg, MD; his grandchildren, Nicholai Wingreen, Mack Wingreen and Fin Stein; his sister Sue MacFarland Groves of Hendersonville, TN.; and his daughter Jean Rose MacFarland.
