It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Cardner Gilroy (Hornell, New York), born in Canastota, New York, who passed away on July 20, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Lee and Estella Dietz Cardner; her husband Liston Gilroy; her sisters, Virginia Potter and Norma Funari; her nephew Francis Funari (Sharkey); and her nieces, Maureen Potter, Norene Harris and Nancy Stanburg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharlene Price (Stephen) of Fremont, N. H. and Colleen DeMonte (Nicholas) of Rochester, NY; her grandchildren, Heather Ryan (Chris) of MA, Daniel Clow (Julie) of RI, Deanna Ross (Chris) of MA, Connie Circhirillo (TJ) of Spencerport, NY and Nicole Frick of Penfield, NY; and her great grandchildren, LaReina Circhirillo, Raquel Circhirillo, Christopher Ross, Jackson Ross, Norah Ryan, Jack Frick and Izabelle Frick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
