It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Ann (Harkenrider) Day of Hornell, New York, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Harkenrider and Jessie Harkenrider (McKinley); her child Besides; her brothers, Robert and Richard Harkenrider; her siblings-in-law, Philip Palmesano, Jesse Scott, James Day and Elizabeth "Liz" Day; and her nieces and nephews, Teresa Palmesano Andreano, Loretta Scott Beck, Alicia Harkenrider, Randy Harkenrider and Johnny Day.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry (Church); her children, Robert Day (Jill) of Rochester, NY, Shannon Smith (Sean) of Arkport, NY and Kevin Day of Hornell; her grandchildren, Alexandria, Gracie, Brennan Day, Guilianna, Zachariah, Conor, Carson, Avry Smith and Julian Day; her siblings, Mary "Patsy" Scott of North Carolina, Joanne Palmesano of Hornell and Terry Harkenrider of Hornell; and her brothers-in-law, Joe Day of Hornell and Jack Day of Canandaigua, NY. She is also survived by her husband and family attending the grandchildren.
