He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bennett and Patricia Bennett (Davis); and his brother William "Mike" Bennett. He is survived by: his daughter Erin Bennett (Eric Slocum) of South Dansville; his brothers, Tim Bennett of Arizona and Jeff Bennett (Bridget) of Dinwiddie, VA; his sister-in-law Karen Bennett; his aunt Betty Pauly; his niece Brooke Pfister (Mike); his nephews, Jesse Bennett (Kristin) and Joe Fiegl; his great-niece Nellie; and his great-nephews, Michael, Jacob, Benjamin and Jax.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Dagon Funeral Home, 38 Church St., Hornell, NY Scott's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Road, Hornell, NY 14843.
