With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah E. Hatter (Hornell, New York), born in Jasper, New York, who passed away on January 30, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Taft and Stella Taft (Woodard); her husband Richard Hatter; her son Larry Hatter; and her siblings, Helen Welch, Bob and Sumner Taft.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Schmidt of Jacksonville, FL, Diane Dale of Hornell, Kevin Hatter (Kathy) of Fulton and John Hatter (Tonia) of Boca Raton, FL; and her grandchildren, Nichole Schlund (Daniel) of Jamaica Beach, TX, Sean Hatter of Hornell, Courtney Horvat (Andy) of Elmira, Chris Smith of Waterloo, Taylor Hatter of Hornell and Larry Hatter of Fulton. She is also survived by great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to either the Hornell AmVets, Faith in Action or a charity of choice.
