He is survived by: his friends, Mike, Bob and Erin; his daughter Allison Hurton (James) of Virginia; his partner Shel Sundheim of Fargo, N. D.; his brothers, Thomas A. Hogan, Jr. (Karen) of Hornell and Martin Hogan (Candace) of Hornell; his nieces and nephews, Mathew Hogan (Bonnie Brennessel), Erin Dwyer, Tracie Crowe and Michael Hogan; his great-nephew Kellen Crowe; his great-niece Sydney Crowe; and his uncle Richard Alger of Hornell.
