It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myron Rider Jr. (Hornell, New York), who passed away on August 12, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron H. and Nellie Rider Sr. (Sprague); his brother Bernard Rider; and his sister-in-law Beverly Rider. He is survived by: his wife Julia Harrison; his children, Tina Marie Rider of Galeton, Desirae Lynn Hedges (Thomas) of Arkport, NY, Cori Ann Woodworth (Dennis) of Avon, NY and Myron H. Rider III; and his siblings, Carol Pappas of Corning, NY, Gloria Pierce (Doug) of Williamson, NY, Nancy Wood (Gary) of Massiloon, Roger Rider (Ruthella) of Claremore, Joe Rider (Helen) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Jimmie Rider of Holland, NY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Vincent House in Wayland or to the Fremont Fire and Ambulance Corps.
