He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Carney and Olive Stephens Carney; his wife Sally Jones Carney; his son Mark Eugene Carney; and his siblings, Alberta Morse, Ruth Davis, Ina Emery, Larry, Royce, Lester, Harry Lee, Clyde and Neil Carney.
He is survived by: his children, Elydia Santee (Tom) of Arkport, Julie Carney of Hornell and David Carney of Livonia; and his siblings, Gladys DuBois of Hartsville and Roger Carney (Diane) of Hartsville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
