He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Dieter and Louise Dieter (Snyder); and his wife Jeanine A. Dieter (Burrous). He is survived by: his sons, Shannon Dieter (Erin) of Hornell and Michael Dieter (Casey) of Canisteo; his siblings, Christina White (Randy) of Horseheads, Brenda Porter-Freas of Virginia, Frank Dieter (Paula) of Hornell and David Dieter (Linda) of Canisteo; and his grandchildren, Tori Dieter, Lyndsie Dieter, Trent Dieter, Alicia Dieter and Morgan Dieter. He is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
