It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Patricia Alger of Hornell, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Nicholas Sciotti; her husband Bob Alger; and her siblings, Ann Marie Whitman, Angela Caldwell and Nicholas Sciotti.

She is survived by: her mother Mamie Sciotti (Vegard); her children, Robert Alger (Joanlee) of Avon, CT and Nancy Houy (Jeff) of Arkport; and her grandchildren, Eric, Max Houy, Robert and Lauren Alger.

Those who are unvaccinated are kindly asked to wear a face mask at the church.
