We bid farewell to Lewis James Robords (Hornell, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 13, 2025 at the age of 96. Lewis James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Robords and Harriett Robords (Carman); his former wife Blanche Robords (Barkley); his children, Karen Kelly and Douglas Robords; and his siblings, Jesse, Theodore, David Robords, Iris Ellis and Phyllis Wilkins.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Pat"; and his children, Dianne Jones (Bob) of Birdsboro, PA, William Robords of Dansville, NY, Virginia Mecomber (Dale) of Skaneateles Falls, NY and Brian Robords (Patricia) of Arkport. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to the Arkport Presbyterian (Community) Church, P.O. Box 6, Arkport, NY 14807 (envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the funeral home) or to a favorite animal rescue.
