He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Acker and F. Irene Acker (Lathrop); his siblings, Harley Acker, Gertrude Vaughn and Marjorie Welch; his niece Sherri Dietrich; and his nephew Richard Erway.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta J. Erway; and his sister Audra Erway (William). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
