He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Vanderhoef and Frances Vanderhoef (Fox); his son Timothy; and his siblings, Edwin, William, Robert, Lynn Jr., James, Gary, Judy Puderbaugh and Kay Butler.
He is survived by: his spouse Idamay Bacon; his son Marty Vanderhoef (Sue) of Canisteo; his grandson Michael Vanderhoef (Angie) of Canisteo; his siblings, Royce Vanderhoef (Mary Nilson) of Canisteo and Frances Ann Lunsford of Pennsylvania; and his siblings-in-law, Nelson Bacon, Clarence Bacon (Sherry), Robert Bacon (Nancy), Jeff Bacon (Bonnie), Barbara, Vivian, Michele, Wilda Vanderhoef, Faye Houghtaling (Joe) and Ella Parsels. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
