It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph D. Foreman of Hornell, New York, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Foreman and Rita Foreman (Mooney); and his brother-in-law Charles Pomeroy. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Foreman (Lauterborn); his children, Erik Briggs of Arkport, Alice Briggs of Sebastopol, CA, Elizabeth Briggs of Tamworth, NH and Jonathan Foreman of Manassas, VA; his grandchildren, Erin, Justin Briggs, Isabella, Rhome D'Amico, Kyle and Lucas Foreman; his sister Margaret Pomeroy; and his goddaughter Michelle Pomeroy of Hornell.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing may contribute in his memory to either the USO, P.O. Box 96860, Washington, DC 20077-7677 (http://www.uso.org) or the Hornell High School Alumni association, P.O. Box 135, Hornell, NY 14843. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the funeral home.
