He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester DeKay and Effie DeKay (VanSile); his siblings, James DeKay, Philip DeKay, Marjorie Cummings, Patricia Wilcox and Judy Sprague; and his wife Kathy Griffith.
He is survived by: his children, Will Nunn (Kelly Smilinich) of Wallace, NY, Jennifer Damboise (Nathan) of Cameron and Jeffrey DeKay (Nikki Didier) of Spearfish, SD; his brother Scott DeKay (Bonnie) of Cameron; his grandchildren, Caitlin Nunn, Trevor Nunn (Liz) and Nathan Nunn; and his great grandchild Andrew Nunn. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Joe's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name be made to the Finger Lakes SPCA, 72 Cameron St., Bath, NY 14810.
