Joanne Porcaro Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Porcaro of Hornell, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Secondo and Edna Secondo (Norton); her siblings, Mary Ann Losecco, Dorothy Ermy, Janice Davis, Patty Lenhart and Karl Secondo; and her son-in-law George "Joe" Richardson.
She is survived by: her husband Leo J. Porcaro; her children, Rene Richardson of St. Petersburg, FL, Mary Magari of Syracuse, Richard "Rick" Porcaro of Hornell and Nicholas Porcaro (Kathleen) of Arkport; her brother Frank Secondo of Mesa, AZ; her grandchildren, Joey Porcaro, Amy Baldassare (Matt), Elizabeth "Liz" Gandolfo (Chris), Kathryn Porcaro, Julie Rubin (Philip), Jill Reeves (Craig), Phillip Magari, Kaleigh Porcaro (Chris Lafler), Christopher Porcaro (Kirsten) and Nicole Romanos (Dustin); and her great grandchildren, Vinny Baldassare, Christian Baldassare, Gabriel Baldassare, Emma Baldassare, Spencer Porcaro, Quinn Porcaro, Ford Gandolfo, Leo Romanos and Rylee Porcaro. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Joanne's family request that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name be made to St. Ann's Academy, 41 Genesee St., Hornell, NY 14843 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
