With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Dagon Diehl of Hornell, New York, who passed away on October 9, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Dagon and Nelle Dagon (Walsh); her siblings, Jim Dagon, John McRoberts and Lucy Ellen Livingston; and her children, Kenneth Diehl (Peggy) of Pittsford, Kevin Diehl (Christine) of Hornell, Elizabeth Argentieri (Jeff) of Groveland and Gretchen Baia (Pat) of Amsterdam, NY. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many nieces & nephews.
Joan's family request that memorial contributions in her name be made to either the Hornell Humane Society, 7649 Industrial Park Dr., Hornell, NY 14843 or to the Hornell Public Library, 64 Genesee St., Hornell, NY 14843 or to St. Ann's Academy, PO Box 446, Hornell, NY 14843.
